Scheduled for Friday, February 23, 2024, from 9:30 a.m., at the Ordine dei Dottori Commercialisti e degli Esperti Contabili (ODCEC) of Milan, is the workshop " La responsabilità amministrativa degli enti nella dimensione transnazionale. La compliance ex d.lgs. n. 231/2001 tra obbligo e opportunità”. The event is organized by the Milan ODCEC, the Fondazione ODCEC of Milan, in collaboration with the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies.

The meeting offers a theoretical and operational approach to discuss the critical issues arising from the application of the rules on the administrative responsibility of entities in the multi-jurisdictional scenario in which contemporary businesses operate. The speeches by Gaetana Morgante, director of the DIRPOLIS Institute and full professor of criminal law at the Sant'Anna School, and Giuseppe Di Vetta, researcher in criminal law at the Sant'Anna School, illustrate the critical developments of the topic that concern, for example, the applications of the national discipline with reference to the transnational operations of companies, particularly in the context of global value chains, and the problem of identifying parameters and standards of responsibility in scenarios characterized by significant regulatory pluralism. Giovanna Lionetti, Senior Director, Ethics&Compliance Business Partner Italy and HBRG, discusses the difficulties of managing and monitoring compliance risks related in the areas of transnational operations. Raffaello Ascensionato Carnà, a member of the Compliance and Organizational Models Committee of the Milan ODCEC, coordinates the proceedings.  The panel discussion, moderated by Carlotta Veneziani (ODCEC of Milan) involves representatives of major companies (Edison s.p.a.; Autostrade per l'Italia; TIM) in a dialogue around how companies concretely deal with the complexities in terms of responsibility and compliance associated with the globalization of production processes and organization. The meeting is introduced by Marcella Cardonna, Milan ODCEC President, and Sabina Cucca, Milan EDCEC Managing Director.
